IRON NEST HQ Data Sources and Calculation Methods

See how IRON NEST HQ calculates bearings, distances, vector relays and intersections, and how community-reference firing values are labeled and checked.

This page separates standard geometry, community-reference models, and externally checked store information. Each category has different limits, and unknown game-specific values are not silently filled in.

LOCAL / STANDARD MATH

Standard Geometry Calculated Locally

Bearings, distances, vector projection, relay chaining, and ray or circle intersections are calculated in the browser from the values you enter.

LABELED / COMMUNITY MODEL

Community-Reference Firing Model

Charge and elevation combinations use a pinned MIT-licensed community model. These values are clearly labeled and are not presented as official or guaranteed game data.

Known Limits

Game versions, maps, ammunition, missions, and firing behavior may change. The site does not silently invent missing full-game values and does not treat a community model as an observed fact.
